October 2009

October has been an amazing month for Tzvi in terms of development. Last month I reported to you that he was turning over. Now he's turning over in both directions and using rolling to get places. He also turns himself around in a circle while lying on his tummy. Not so good for getting places, but very cute.

Another big milestone is that Tzvi is now sitting up on his own. He's pretty good at it, but falls over if he gets excited. He's getting excited about lots of things now. He has really started playing with toys and stuffed animals. He also got his first basketball courtesy of Dod Akiva.

You'll see in the pictures: a photo-shoot with our friend Debbi Cooper where Tzvi refused to smile, but his pout is so cute, visiting with Dov Akiva and cousin Shira, the simchat bat of Shlomzion Miryam Evers, and a day in the park with Zahava, Elisheva and Nechemya.

5 Months & Sukkot

At 5 months Tzvi has gotten really good at turning over. Mostly from back to front, but occasionally the other way too. He'll play more on his tummy now and has started "swimming" motions. I guess he'll be crawling soon.

Despite all three of us being sick at different points, we had a nice Sukkot. A highlight was a visit to the cousins in Ramat Beit Shemesh. Today Tzvi got his first aliya to the Torah. He really liked the dancing on Simchat Torah.
